Police: Argument led to man's murder in front yard of KC home

KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement authorities in Kansas City are investigating a man's murder.

Just before 11:30p.m. Friday, police were dispatched to a sound of gunshots the 600 block of E 110th Terrace in Kansas City, according to Sheriff Daryl Forte'. 

When officers arrived, they were summoned to a nearby residence where a man was located in the front yard unresponsive and suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, according to Officer Alayna Gonzalez.

EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The preliminary investigation revealed the incident occurred over an argument. Homicide detectives and crime scene personnel responded to gather evidence and collect witness statements.  Police have not reported an arrest.
