Police arrest Kansas woman for alleged public nudity

SALINE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a woman for alleged public nudity.

Just before 3 p.m. Monday, police responded to a call reporting unusual behavior by a woman in the 600 block of West Prescott in Salina, according  to Salina Police Captain.James Feldman,

A Salina resident called police to report that a woman wearing a bikini swimsuit had accessed a cooler on their front porch and took a beer before leaving the area.

Officers were dispatched to the neighborhood and a resident there told police the woman they were looking for was southbound on 11th Street, according to Feldman. The reporting party also told police the suspect had flashed them by lifting up her bikini top.

Police located the suspect, identified as Nicole Hoffschneider, 39, of Bennington in the 600 block of South 11th Street. Police took Hoffschneider into custody on requested charges of public nudity.
