FORD COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating a deadly building explosion have identified the victims as 26-year-old Jerry Isakson; 29-year-old Robyn Hamilton and 19-month-old Stormi Isakson all of Dodge City, according to Ford County Sheriff Bill Carr.
Just before 5:30p.m. Saturday, Ford County Communications received calls of an explosion in the 100 block of west Center Street in Bucklin, according to a statement from Sheriff Bill Car.
First responders found three inside the building deceased and a fourth identified as 26-year-old Christian Stimpert of Bucklin who was transported to St. Catherine Hospital in Dodge City for medical treatment.
The cause of the explosion and deaths are being investigated as an accident, according to Carr. The Kansas State Fire Marshal's Office and Ford County Fire are assisting with the investigation.
