KANSAS CITY— A death investigation is underway after Kansas City Police reported on Thursday the body of a missing man had been found in a wooded area, according to Kansas City Police.
Terry Day, 65, was last seen just after 7p.m. August 1, walking with his mixed breed dog in the area of E. 94th Street and Pleasant Avenue in southeast Kansas City, Missouri, according to KCPD.
Law enforcement are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of his death.
