KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating the first homicide of 2024 in Kansas City.
Just before 10p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a medical call near the intersection of 26th and Agnes, according to Sheriff Daryl Forte.
First responders found a man, later identified as 70-year-old Vonzell Bryant, in a yard suffering from some type of bodily trauma. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police have not reported an arrest or additional details.
