RENO COUNTY —Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire in Hutchinson.
Just after 4:30 a.m. Monday, crews were dispatched to a fire at a home 418 S. Howard Street, according to a media release.
First arriving crews found fire coming from a bedroom window on the single-story home. Crews made an aggressive interior attack and extinguished the fire. The home sustained heavy smoke damage throughout.
Despite the fact that the home had no smoke detectors, the four occupants were able to escape. There were no injuries reported. Authorities have not reported a damage amount.
