Game Wardens report more deer poaching in Kansas

LYON COUNTY—The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks are investigating more alleged deer poaching.

On Sunday, the Lyon County Game Warden was called to a headless deer Northwest of Americus, according to a social media report from KDW&P    game wardens.

Lyon County Game Warden Scheve is asking for the public’s help identifying persons involved in the poaching. Game Warden Scheve phone # (620) 431-9873.

On Friday, the Russell County Game Warden asked the public's assistance with information about 3 white-tailed does that were killed between 8a.m. on November and 9a.m. November 4, according to the a social media report from the Kansas Department of Wildlife and  Parks Game Wardens.

The does were 'more than likely killed in the evening or night hours.'

All 3 does were shot with a rifle and left in the field on west side of 188th approximately 1/3 of a mile south of Waldo, Kansas.
