KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement investigating a reported Sunday homicide in Kansas City learned the victim was still alive in critical condition at an area hospital, according to KCPD Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
Just after 8p.m. Sunday, police responded to a deadly shooting at 13th and Paseo, just north of the Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy.
First responders learned the victim had been taken to a nearby hospital and was alive, according to Gonzalez.
Just before 9p.m. Sunday, police reported the victim remained in the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police released no additional details including what prompted the shooting or possible suspect information.
