KHP: More drivers caught traveling 100mph or more

TOPEKA—A driver will face a $333.00 ticket after an encounter this week with the Kansas Highway Patrol. The KHP continues to see more drivers traveling well over the speed limit.

According to a social media report from the KHP, Trooper Schaefer in Troop B, who covers Topeka and portions of 12 counties in northeast Kansas, stopped a driver for 32mph over the speed limit”

“Speeds like this decrease everyone’s safety on the roadway,” said the KHP. “It also causes increases in severity of injuries or death if you crash.”
