JOHNSON COUNTY—Students on a school bus avoided injury just after 9a.m. Friday in Johnson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Ford Fusion driven by&nbsp;Lindsay Faye&nbsp;Hollingshead,&nbsp; 36, Shawnee, was northbound on Interstate 135 one half mile north of south Interstate 435. The car rear-ended a 2019 Bluebird school bus driven by Michelle Jo&nbsp;Maimer, 49, Paola, who had slowed.

There were 47 passengers, 44 students and 3 adult chaperones on the bus at the time of the accident. There were no injuries reported on the bus.

Hollingshead was properly restrained and not injured, according to the KHP.&nbsp; The KHP did not release the name of the school district involved.&nbsp;
