SALINE COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating after finding credit card skimmers on gas pumps at a station in Salina.

On Tuesday, police were dispatched to Flying J gas station, 2250 N. Ohio in Salina for the report of a card skimmer found on one of the diesel pumps, according to Salina Police Captain James Feldman.

On February 13, a business in Salina reported they used the diesel pump and noticed fraudulent charges on their credit card.

Officers confirmed of finding the skimmer on the diesel pump. Police warned the public if they have used any of the pumps within the last month to be aware of any fraudulent charges.

Skimmers are an illegal covert device installed over, or inside, genuine card readers at ATMs, fuel pumps and point-of-sale terminals to steal credit/debit card data.
