GRANT COUNTY —USD 214 Ulysses gave students the day off Tuesday due to the forecast sustained high winds and wind gusts exceeding 60 mph producing reduced visibility and blowing dust.
A high wind warning and red flag warning is in effect for Tuesday, according to National Weather Service in Dodge City.
The status of scheduled night activities for the school district are yet to be determined.
