JOHNSON COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 7p.m. Saturday in Johnson County.
The crash involving a minivan and a semi-truck occurred in area of East Old 56 Highway and South Lone Elm Road in Olathe, according to Olathe Police Sergeant John Moncayo.
First responders observed found the driver and sole occupant of the minivan was a 77-year-old woman who was unresponsive. Life-saving measures were performed on the woman while on scene, but she was later declared deceased., according to Moncayo. The 42-year-old male driver of the semi-truck remained on scene.
