Kansas assault suspect was hiding on top of small room

BROWN COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating. wanted suspect on additional charges after tracking him down.

Just after 12a.m. February 18, sheriff's deputies were alerted that an individual having a Richardson County Nebraska Felony Warrant for 1st Degree Assault was in Hiawatha, Kansas, according to Sheriff John Merchant.

Deputies located the wanted suspect identified as 47-year-old Anthony Tull of Hiawatha in a vacant building. 

He was hiding on top of a small room in the building and was taken into custody without incident.  Tull is also facing requested charges of Felony Obstruction.

In July, deputies arrested Tull on requested charges of Possession of Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Obstruction and a Hiawatha Failure to Appear Warrant, according to Merchant.
