KANSAS CITY±Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City.

Just before 1p.m. Tuesday, police were dispatched to the intersection of E 51st Street and Prospect Avenue, according to Officer Alayna Gonzalez.

First responders found a lying on the sidewalk near the bus stop suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. EMS responded simultaneously and transported the victim to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The circumstances surrounding this incident are currently unknown and no one is in custody. Homicide detectives and crime scene personnel&nbsp; responded to gather evidence and collect witness statements.&nbsp;
