Just after 11a.m. Monday, a sheriff's deputy responded to a Topeka hospital on a report of a sexual crime that occurred in the 2100 Block of SE 102nd Street, according to Sheriff's Lt. Scott Wanamaker.

After a preliminary investigation at the hospital, investigators proceeded to the crime address in an attempt to locate suspect identified as 46-year-old Wayne  Partridge of Berryton.  Deputies found him there and took him into custody on requested charges of rape, indecent liberties with a child, aggravated indecent liberties with a child and aggravated criminal sodomy.
