<a href="https://www.jimcurrymusic.com/">Jim Curry and his band’s&nbsp;“Tribute to John Denver”</a> is coming to Oakley. The Western Plains Arts Association will open its 53rd&nbsp;season with a Las Vegas show featuring John Denver songs by Jim Curry and his band. They have been celebrated nationally and internationally, and have been touring South Dakota, New Mexico and now Kansas.&nbsp;

The Dane G. Hansen Foundation is sponsoring the show, scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, in the Oakley High School auditorium. 

Admission is by season ticket or at the door — adults, $20, students, $10.
