JOHNSON COUNTY — A missing 71-year-old Kansas woman has been found and is safe, according to the Olathe Police Department. The Silver Alert is canceled.

On Sunday night, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation issued a Silver Alert for Gayl Stockman. Gayl is five foot two, approximately 180 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. She was last seen leaving the 15800 block of West 150th Terrace on March 30th, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m. Gayl was last seen wearing a thin black long sleeve shirt, blue and white striped shorts, white socks, and white tennis shoes.
Gayl is believed to be operating a red, 2012, Lincoln MKZ displaying a Kansas license plate, 171 PGD. She is also believed to be in the area of Cowgill, Missouri and has a large Bernese Mountain dog with her.
