CLAY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect
On November 3, sheriff's deputies served a search warrant on a drug house operating next to an elementary school, according to the Clay County Sheriff's office.
Clarence D.L. Greenwood, 56, was arrested on requested charges that include distribution of a controlled substance with an enhanced penalty of being within 2,000 feet of a school keeping or maintaining a public nuisance,
Greenwood is being held on a $100K bond. Kansas City Codes enforcement saw numerous violations that made the house uninhabitable and boarded it up. Deputies will continue to check it to ensure no one has returned for illegal activity.
