ELLIS COUNTY —Early Friday, Kansas Highway Patrol troopers responded to a car hauler on fire on Interstate 70 just east of Ellis, according to a social media report from Trooper Tod Hileman.

Traffic at mile marker 148 was down to one lane while the tow truck removes the car hauler.

There were no injuries reported, according to Hileman. Authorities have not reported the cause of the fire or an estimate of damages.
