WYANDOTTE COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 3a.m. Monday in Wyandotte County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Dodge Ram driven by Salvador Martinez Colin, 50, Kansas City, Kansas, was southbound on Interstate 635 in the exit lane to Metropolitan Avenue. The pickup traveled off the road, continued southbound through the grass gore, went airborne over the Metropolitan ramp to Interstate 635 and rolled onto its top in the gore area.
Martinez Colin was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
