PRATT COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a police officer for alleged child abuse..
Just before 6:30 p.m. Thursday, KBI agents arrested 33-year-old Tate M. Rosenbaum at his residence in Pratt, Kansas, according to a media release from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
He was arrested on requested charges abuse of a child, and one count of battery. The charges are connected to an incident that occurred on July 22.
After his arrest, Rosenbaum was booked into the Pratt County Jail.
The KBI initiated this investigation on July 23, after the Pratt Police Department requested KBI assistance. The Pratt County Attorney is expected to prosecute the case.
