JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after a violent traffic stop.
On Nov. 6, a sheriff's deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Mayetta for alleged erratic driving, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
When Perry exited the vehicle he allegedly pulled out a knife. The deputy arrested Perry. Prairie Band Pottawatomie Nation Police assisted with the incident.
Perry is being held in the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, felony interference with law enforcement and driving under the influence.
