ALLEN COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 7p.m. Sunday in Allen County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chevy Colorado driven by Donald Brian Gaylord, 64, Magnolia,Texas, was southbound on U.S. 169 at Minnesota Road. The pickup crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2015 Volo semi in the trailer.
Gaylord was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Country Side Funeral Home. The semi driver Luis Alberto Martinez San Miguel, 39, Davenport, Florida, was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
