Police cancel Silver Alert for missing Kansas man

On Friday afternoon, police cancelled the Silver Alert for Richard Plush. He has been located and is safe, according to office Kevin Wheeler of the Wichita Police Department.

SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities needs the public's help locating 75-year-old Richard Plush.

He was last seen leaving the Marigold Hotel in the 2400 block of North Ridge Road at approximately 2 a.m, according to Wichita Police officer Charley Davidson.

He is believed to be traveling in a White 2012 Chevy Equinox bearing Kansas tag 778JCZ.

He is described as 5-foot-7,  170 pounds with grey hair, blue eyes, and last seen wearing a white undershirt, blue jeans, blue sketches, and white socks. He has been diagnosed with dementia.
