STANTON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting and have a suspect in custody.
Just before 11p.m. Tuesday Sheriff's Deputies responded to a shooting in the 100 block of North Elm Street in Johnson, Kansas, according to Sheriff Clayton Kester.
When deputies arrived they located two individuals suffering from an apparent gunshot wounds. EMS transported them to the Stanton County Hospital in Johnson City. The sheriff had no update on their condition early Thursday.
Just before 11:30p.m. Tuesday, deputies arrested the suspect, later identified as 26-year-old Quinton Seely of Johnson City, in the 400 block of South Lake.
Seely is currently in custody in Grant County awaiting formal charges.
