JACKSON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man after he fled from an attempted traffic stop.
Just before 7p.m. September 23, a Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to stop a black passenger car for allegedly speeding near 102nd and U.S. Highway 75, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
The vehicle allegedly failed to stop and a pursuit ensued. The vehicle went east on K-214 Highway, continued through the City of Hoyt and eventually stopped in the Hoyt City Park where the driver later identified as Samuel Trynham, 20, of Auburn, was taken into custody.
Trynham is being held in the Jackson County Jail on requested charges for for flee and eluding law enforcement, possession of a hallucinogenic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic charges.
