The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office reported to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) that 87-year-old John Joseph Martin was located and is now safe.

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY – The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office requested the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue a statewide Silver Alert for a missing St. Marys man, according to a media release from the KBI.
The whereabouts of 87-year-old John Joseph Martin are unknown and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate him.
Martin is likely driving a black 2008 Chevrolet Colorado bearing Kansas tag 1434AJY. He was last believed to be in St. Marys on Jan. 26, at approximately 3 p.m.
Martin is a white male who is around six foot tall, weighs approximately 207 pounds, has gray hair and hazel eyes.
