SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects on multiple allegations after a late night arrest at Tecumseh Park.
Just before 12:30a.m. Tuesday, a sheriff's deputy made contact with the occupants of a blue 2005 Chevrolet Impala found parked after park hours at the boat ramp in the 4400 block of NE Seward Avenue, according to Deputy Shayna Anderson.
During the investigation, a K9 Unit was utilized and illegal narcotics were located.
Deputies arrested Steven K. Schuster, 31, of Topeka, was arrested and booked him into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of park rules.
Deputies also arrested Jasmine L. Brown, 40, of Topeka on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of park rules.
