WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a deadly shooting have identified the victim as 15-year-old Chris Jones of Kansas City, Kansas.
Just before 8p.m. March 28, police responded to report of a shooting in the 3700 Block of State Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a media release. Officers found two victims with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. EMS transported the second victim to an area hospital for treatment. Police have released no suspect details or additional information.
