After having their previous due games postponed due to weather, the Great Bend Bat Cats got back on the field Sunday afternoon and dropped a 2-0 contest at Rose Hill.
In their first game since last Wednesday, the Bat Cats managed just one hit against five Rose Hill pitchers. Great Bend's only hit was a single by Tyler Henry in the second inning.
Rose Hill scored the games only two runs in the first inning off Jarrett Seaton who started and took the loss, allowing 7 hits and 2 runs in 4 1/3 innings of work.
The Bat Cats are now 3-4 overall and 2-2 in Sunflower Collegiate League play while Rose Hill improved to 3-1 in the SCL.
