KANSAS CITY —A man critically injured in an accident just after 4p.m. Tuesday in Kansas City, Missouri has died.
According to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina, a multi-colored Kawasaki motorcycle was eastbound on Truman Road in Kansas City, Missouri. A white United States Postal Service International semi-truck, tractor and trailer was stopped in traffic on Truman Road, just west of Lister.
The motorcycle rear-ended the trailer, ejecting operator off the motorcycle. EMS transported the motorcyclist to Truman Medical with life-threatening injuries. On Friday morning, KCPD Officer Alayna Golzalez reported the man died. The semi truck driver was not injured in the crash. Police did not release the name of the motorcyclist.
This is fatality #27 compared to #24 at this time last year and the investigation is ongoing.
The accident remains under investigation, according Gonzalez.
