Police investigating gunfire at Kansas science museum

SEDGWICK COUNTY —The Wichita Police Department is seeking the community's help to identify a group of possibly teenagers or individuals in their early twenties, involved in a shooting incident near Exploration Place, 300 N McLean Blvd. in Wichita, according to a social media report.

Just before 12:30a.m. on Sunday, there was an exchange of gunshots between the groups, and a bullet struck a glass window at Exploration Place.

Fortunately, no one was injured, including a group of children at a sleepover event at Exploration Place. Investigators are requesting information from anyone who was in the area around midnight. The individuals pictured below are believed to be directly involved in the incident. It is also believed that a confrontation occurred near the Keeper of the Plains Statue and the South Bridge prior to the shooting taking place.
