WYANDOTTE COUNTY—Detectives with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department are investigating a fatal double shooting.
Just after 3:30p.m. Wednesday, police were dispatched to report of a shooting in the 1700 Block of South 16th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a media release. Upon arrival, officers located two victims with apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to an area hospital. Both men died from their injuries.
This incident is under investigation by the KCKPD Major Case Unit.
