SEDGWICK COUNTY —The city Wichita reported that Sporty, retired Wichita Fire Department Accelerant Detection K-9 passed away Wednesday morning. 

Sporty served the community from 2010-2015. Once retired, she lived at home and continued her skillset by searching for every ounce of bacon that entered the home. Sporty would have been 16 years old this December. "Rest in peace, sweet girl."
