Kansas man dies after head-on SUV, semi crash

BUTLER COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 8:30a.m. Friday in Butler County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1993 Chevy Blazer driven by David A. Seabolt, 27, Wichita, was eastbound on U.S. 400 just  west of SE Flinthills Road.

The SUV cross the center line and struck a westbound 2010 Freightliner semi driven by Rodney L Knoffloch, 49. Augusta, head-on.

Seabolt was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Carlson Funeral Home. EMS transported Knoffloch to Via Christ St. Francis. Seabolt was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
