SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on drug allegations following an investigation into a vehicle blocking an ATM.
Just before 4:30 a.m. December 3, the Shawnee County Emergency Communications Center received notification regarding a blue 2017 Chevrolet Colorado stopped at an ATM in the 4600 block of NW 46th Street, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
A Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) deputy with the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office responded. During the investigation, illegal narcotics were located. Neal R. St Cyr, 45, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of Possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
