KANSAS CITY —Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire in Kansas City.
Just after midnight Friday, crews responded to a fire at ahome in the 300 block of East 122nd Street in Kansas City, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.
Crews faced heavy fire from the attic of a single-story home. The occupants of the home, three adults and three children were able to escape prior to KCFD arrival.
No injuries were reported at this fire, according to Hopkins. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
