SEDGWICK COUNTY —Andrew Fibert was sentenced Friday to 19 months in prison for leaving the scene of a fatal crash that took the life of 29-year-old Adam Wayne Condit and an additional six months in jail for driving under the influence, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office.
On July 16, Fibert pleaded no contest to leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death and driving under the influence.
Just after midnight March 15, 2025, a pickup struck and killed Aam Condit of Wichita, in the 5800 block of West Windmill Road, according to Sheriff's Department spokesman Branden Stitt. Law enforcement asked the public for help to find the vehicle.
On Friday, March 20, detectives finally located and arrested Andrew Eugene Fibert, 21, of Wichita in connection with the crash and booked him into jail.
