KANSAS CITY—Law enforcelment are investigating another homicide in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just before 7am Saturday, police were dispatched to a house in the 5600 block of Agnes on a shooting call, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
First responders were directed inside to an adult female shooting victim there who was unresponsive. Officers rendered aid until EMS arrived and took over treatment.
EMS transported the victim to the hospital where she was declared deceased.
Preliminary investigation indicates the victim had an interaction with another person inside the residence that led to gunfire which struck the victim. The suspect then left the scene in an unknown direction. Detectives believe the victim and suspect are known to each other and detectives are making progress in identifying and locating that subject, according to Becchina.
