PRATT COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 5:30 a.m. Saturday in Pratt County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Internatdional semi driven by James Glover, Jr. 53, Wichita, was easttbound on U.S. 54 one half mile west of Cullison. The semi crossed the center line and struck the side of a 2007 Freighliner semi and trailer driven by Timothy M. Fox, 51, Cypress, Texas. After impact the Freightliner entered the north ditch and lost its cargo.
Glover was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Larrison Mortuary. Fox was not injured. Glover was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
