Police: Kan. man test drove SUV, didn't return it

RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for alleged car theft.

Just before 5p.m. Saturday, officers filed a report for recovery of a stolen vehicle in the 4400 block of Riverpond Road in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

A known male suspect test-drove a 2002 Jeep Wrangler and never returned it. Police arrested 62-year-old Barry Sullivan of Topeka on requested charges of possession of stolen property, use/possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to use, and possession of a stimulant. 
He is being held on a total bond of $8,000, according to the RCPD.
