MIAMI COUNTY, Kan. —A Kansas man did what no man ever expects to do last week when he was forced to deliver his newborn baby.
On February 27, deputies along with Miami County EMS and Fire District #1 of Johnson County, Kansas responded to a medical call on the ramp of 169 Highway and 255th Street, according to a social media report from the Miami County Sheriff's office.
When Deputies arrived, they were met with a father who had just delivered his baby in the front seat of their vehicle.
While on scene, Deputies provided and helped the mother and father use medical equipment as Johnson County Emergency Communications Center provided life saving instructions until EMS and Fire personnel arrived to take over. Both mother and baby are doing great. Congratulations to the Redenbaugh Family.
