KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a hit-and-run and after asking the public to help have located a vehicle and suspect.
According to Kansas City Police, a white 2-door Dodge Challenger with black rims, a sunroom struck a person in a hit-and-run at Westport and Broadway on August 5.
The suspect is in custody in a neighboring state, has been charged and is awaiting extradition.
The vehicle was also missing the driver side headlight following the incident. Police did not release the name of the suspsect or victim.
