Police: Suspect stole cash, inventory from fireworks stand

RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a theft from a fireworks stand in Manhattan.

Just before 9a.m. Friday, officers filed a report of theft  in the 4500 block of Anderson Avenue in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report. A 44-year-old man reported an unknown suspect stole the cash drawer and various inventory from a fireworks stand.

The total estimated loss associated with this case is $4,686.94.
