ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for an allege domestic incident.

Shortly before 9p.m. on Thursday officers responded to an alleged domestic disturbance in the 300 block East P Street, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson. An investigation determined that a domestic battery had occurred against a 38-year-old victim and during the disturbance a firearm was used in a threatening manner. 

Police located the 30 year old suspect identified as Anthony C. Simon of Atchison a short time later and arrested him on requested charges that include&nbsp;&nbsp;aggravated assault and domestic battery.
