JOHNSON COUNTY —A Kansas man is going to prison for child sex crimes.
On July 25, a Johnson County judge sentenced 37-year-old Cameron J. McPheeters of Olathe to just over 41-years in prison for two counts of rape of a child under the age of 14, according to the Johnson County District Attorney's office.
In June McPheeters pleaded guilty to two counts of rape. The crimes occurred in May of 2020, according to the KBI Offender Registry.
