SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting and looking for possible suspects.

Just after 1:30 a.m. Friday, police responded to a shooting call at Harry and Oliver in Wichita, according to Officer Charley Davidson.

Officers located an 18-year-old who had been shot.  He was transported to an area hospital, treated, and released.

The investigation revealed a disturbance occurred at apartments in the 4900 block of East Harry between multiple individuals.  A dark color Ford Fusion  was leaving the parking lot of the apartments when shots were fired that struck the victim and an unoccupied white Nissan Quest.  Officers also located a shell casing in the parking lot.

This was not a random incident, according to Davidson. Police have not reported an arrest.
