Fentanyl, heroin and counterfeit cash seized at SW Kan. home

FINNEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.

Just after 8p.m. Tuesday., the Garden City/Finney County Joint Drug Task Force served a search warrant at 2002 St. John Street #A1 as part of an ongoing investigation, according to a media release.

Inside the residence, officers seized as evidence 620 suspected fentanyl pills, 9.2 grams of heroin, 8.7 grams of methamphetamine, One firearm, scales and items indicative of the distribution and consumption of illegal narcotics and counterfeiting cash.

Officers took 31-year-old Steven Rosas of Garden City into custody without incident. He is being held in the Finney County Jail on the requested charges that include Distribution of Fentanyl, Distribution of Methamphetamine, Distribution of Heroin, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,  and Counterfeiting Currency.
