PAWNEE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after noon Monday in Pawnee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Cadillac SRX driven by Morgan Williams, 39, Wichita, was eastbound on Kansas 156 just east of Kansas 246 Highway behind a 2007 International semi driven by Bradley J. Walker, 33, Wichita.
The Cadillac attempted to pass the International semi and sideswiped a westbound 2011 Freightliner semi driven by Jared D. Kirchgassner, 38, McLouth. After impact the Cadillac was was pushed back into the International semi.
EMS transported Williams to the hospital in Larned.
Walker and Kirchgassner were not injured. The KHP had incomplete seat belt usage information.
